What is HL7EBOX?

HL7EBOX, also known as HL7 Box, is an intelligent HL7 Converter device that instantly translates data from medical devices in their native formats into HL7, the common language of healthcare systems. It acts as a flawless "translator" between different devices and hospital systems.

What Problems Does It Solve?

User-Independent

Automatically collects and transfers data as long as the device is running, without any manual intervention.

Operational Burden

Eliminates the time required for data collection and entry into the system.

Integration Complexity

Simplifies communication between different brands and models of devices with HL7 servers, HIS, and ICU systems, reducing costs.

Delayed Data Flow

Accelerates clinical decision support and workflow processes with real-time transfer of critical data. Ensures uninterrupted data flow to HIS and ICU systems.

What Kind of Solution Does It Offer?

HL7EBOX is a compact, powerful, and plug-and-play HL7 Converter (HL7 Box) solution developed for medical device integration.

  • Works seamlessly with devices of various brands and models.
  • Due to its architecture, it can start transferring data within seconds.
  • Even if the device or transfer servers are offline, it waits and starts transferring data when the system is back online.
  • Integrates smoothly into your existing infrastructure without additional hardware, software, or complexity costs.

How It Works

HL7EBOX completes the integration in 4 simple steps.

1. CONNECT

The device is plugged into the serial (RS-232) or network (Ethernet) port of the medical device.

2. COLLECT

Reads measurement parameters (vital signs, etc.) from the device in real-time and without data loss.

3. CONVERT

Translates the incoming raw data into the standard HL7 v2.x format.

4. TRANSFER

Sends the standardized HL7 data to the destination over the network (Wired/Wireless).
